Our team is responsible for managing Datapath platform, a foundational platform that is core to Amazon’s eCommerce business. Amazon customers using Kindle, Prime, Instant Video, Fulfillment, or just shopping online, depend on a highly available server backend provided by the Datapath platform. Engineers on the Datapath team design, build, and maintain highly scalable distributed systems that execute business logic, authored by teams across Amazon, millions of times per second in real-time.

Our team supports the operational and tooling needs of this massively scaled, high performance, reliable and cost effective data-centric platform. Our mission is to enable the business to do interesting things with data at scale and liberate application developers from the burden of managing their storage and compute needs.

As a DevOps Manager, you will be responsible for leading and driving operational and engineering excellence. You will have strong customer and operational focus, ability to understand and deep dive cross functional and inter dependent teams to eliminate the technical debt. You will also be responsible for working closely with other managers of software development teams to improve their systems. Your solutions will impact our customers directly! High impact production issues often requires coordination between multiple Development, Operations and IT support groups, so you get to experience a breadth of impact with various groups.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
