Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in program management working in cross-functional projects.
  • Experience in IT Infrastructure resource planning and management for compute/memory/storage resources.
  • Experience with Python or SQL.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or MBA.
  • Experience in hardware or systems, with the understanding of technology change.
  • Knowledge of quantitative assessment and analysis across multiple technical disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complexity, cost, and risk in partnership with cross-functional stakeholder teams across Site Reliability Engineering, Developer, Product Management, Supply Chain, Planning and Efficiency. 
  • Maintain analytics to understand obscured problems, propose data-driven solutions, support proposed solutions, and own and manage the execution.
  • Prioritize and manage capacity to ensure Google Cloud Platform external customers can scale by ensuring the right type of machines are available in the right place at the right time. Communicate/report in the form of weekly business reviews to leadership teams.
  • Create a future roadmap for programs around data center capacity management including building the necessary KPI to track, manage, and report status and progress.
