We are in search of a Technical Program Manager for the HP Techpulse product, who is passionate and motivated to deliver various services – built for the cloud. The person must be able to understand the complex requirements and needs of a project. They should be able to manage expectations, timelines, dependencies, plan and execution strategy. We need someone who enjoys working with incredibly talented individuals and is eager to learn, grow and make their contributions. 

Excellent written, spoken, and interpersonal skills are fundamental to working with our distributed teams, and the ability to communicate concisely and clearly is valued. We are looking for an energetic and committed person, a motivator who leads by example and works together with the team to achieve common goals.  

We are looking for a strong technical background that helps the person talk the language of the development team and can understand dependencies clearly. In addition to the technical background, good business acumen is also expected. 

Your responsibilities will include: 

Responsibilities 

·        Manages and executes a program involving cross-functional project teams
  to drive the engineering development and delivery. 

·        Partners with both internal stakeholders and external partners across the
  Software ecosystem. 

·        The person should run sprint planning, understand requirements from

product owners and UX teams, get timelines from engineering teams, and be
  able to track the project status. 

·        Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies
  and practices to determine the best method for accomplishing work and
  achieving objectives. 

·        Manages activities of supporting project teams and internal development
partners; ensures progress against established plan and makes
  determinations based on analysis of business information to alter or update
  schedule and resource allocation to meet product requirements and
  development schedule. 

·        Communicates program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to product
  stakeholders; collaborates with management and internal manufacturing and
  development partners to recommend and implement changes to product,
  processes, or business practices to resolve escalated issues, produce
  solutions, and ensure adherence to budgets and established product
  roadmaps and schedules. 

·        Drives innovation and integration of innovative technologies and quality
  initiatives into projects and activities in the engineering organization. 

  

Requirements: 

·        Bachelors or Masters in Business Management, Engineering, Computer
  Sciences, or equivalent. 

·        3-7 years of experience in the Software Industry. 

·        1+ years of experience in program management. 

·        Extensive experience with using project and program planning tools and
  software packages to create, manage and track project results. 

·        Experience using the feature or bug tracking tools such as Azure DevOps,
  JIRA, etc.
·   Able to demonstrate ownership with respect to compliance, privacy and data
  governance. 

·        Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills – Able to understand product,
  requirements, and its impact. 

·        Demonstrated business acumen and successful experience managing all
  aspects of programs, including communicating with stakeholders and
  directing matrixed teams and resources. 

·        Ability to effectively communicate program plans, proposals, and results, and
  negotiate options at senior management levels. 

·        Experience in managing and delivering cloud-based services. 

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in English. 

  

Good to have: 

·        Scrum Master / Agile Certified. 

·        PMP Certification 

·        Previous experience in enterprise business.
