Job Summary

Mumbai "Installation of OS and configuration as per requirements. Patch and package administration as per requirements. Performance improvement and automation of jobs DC and DR file sync status.  Working on the requests of development and  support team on staging and UAT setup. Hardening of servers as per bank policy. User administration of all servers. Providing CPU, Memory and core utilization of VMWARE instances on daily basis. Performing  log movement as per bank policy and managing log movement inventory. Daily reports of NetBackup success/failures and log movement. Quarterly patching activity on all servers. Escalating hardware and system level problems to AMC Vendors. Ensuring consistency across staging/production and Disaster recovery systems as defined in SLA for each setup. Document issues and associated resolutions to problems. Prepare documentation and presentation of progress reports to customers. Conduct users, customers and Teams training Guide/Mentor the team members on technical problems which cannot be resolved at their level. Ensure that Systems, Organization processes, & Unit practices adhere to Organization policies. Active participation in Organization and Unit level initiatives " To ensure successful initiation, planning, execution, control and completion of the project by guiding team members on technical aspects, conducting reviews of technical documents and artefacts. Lead project development, production support and maintenance activities. Fill and ensure timesheets are completed, as is the invoicing process, on or before the deadline.  Lead the customer interface for the project on an everyday basis, proactively addressing any issues before they are escalated.  Create functional and technical specification documents. Track open tickets/ incidents in queue and allocate tickets to resources and ensure that the tickets are closed within the deadlines. Ensure analysts adhere to SLAs/KPIs/OLAs.  Ensure that all in the delivery team, including self, are constantly thinking of ways to do things faster, better or in a more economic manner.  Lead and ensure project is in compliance with Software Quality Processes and within timelines.  Review functional and technical specification documents. Serve as the single point of contact for the team to the project stakeholders. Promote team work, motivate, mentor and develop subordinates.  Provide application production support as per process/RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted and Informed) Matrix.
