Position Description:
Roles and Responsibilities:
Capture business problems, value drivers, and functional/non-functional requirements including health, safety, security, usability, data, and supportability considerations and translate into functionality. Assess the risks, feasibility, opportunities, and business impact. Assess and model processes, data flows, and technology to understand the current value and issues, and identify and propose opportunities for improvement. Create / update clear documentation of requirements to align with the solution over the project lifecycle. Ensure traceability of requirements from business needs through testing and scope changes, to final solution. Create acceptance criteria and validate that solutions meet business needs through defining and coordinating testing. Seek guidance from more experienced BAs and be open to learning on-the-job.
Mandatory skills:
Understanding systems engineering concepts. Good understanding and experience of the various Agile frameworks and tools. Systematic and analytical approach to problem solving. Close attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills. 2 to 4 years IT experience or related 4 year degree.
Optional skills:
Agile project experience is an asset. Agile certifications/trainings preferred.
