We are looking for a motivated Java Developer Fresher to join our team. In this role, you will learn and work with Java to develop efficient and scalable software solutions. You will be responsible for writing clean and maintainable code, assisting in the development and testing of applications, and collaborating with team members to solve technical challenges. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of core Java concepts. Basic knowledge of databases and version control tools is a plus. Strong communication skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work in a team are essential. Students graduating in the year 2025 with Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology, Master of Engineering, Master of Technology, or Master of Computer Applications degrees in any stream such as Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, etc., are eligible to apply. The candidate should hold United States, United Kingdom, or Canada citizenship, passport, or permanent residence. They should be willing to relocate to the United Kingdom, United States, or Canada after training. Candidates must have above sixty percent throughout their studies with no backlogs. The shortlisted candidate will be provided with an internship opportunity during their final semester. There will be a two-year service agreement upon joining Virtusa, with a one-year waiver if the candidate pursues higher studies.

Reporting to Manager & the role involves,   What a typical day looks like: Providing Human Resources with functional and technical support for all countries. Systems Analysis and Design for new HR initiatives (including but not limited to partnering with HR SME’s to gather requirements, documenting processes/programs, configuring the system, participating in data conversion, building proof of concept(s), troubleshooting, testing, resolving system or process issues, implementing, and end user training. Providing application configuration for various areas of Human Resources programs and business processes including but not limited to Employee Self Service, Manager Self Service, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Time and Attendance, Leave Administration, and vendor interfaces/integrations. Mapping and integrating local business processes with global business processes for all steps of worker life cycle. Leading or participating in data requirements / process design sessions, data conversion, proof-of-concept, data analysis, audit compliance, regression testing, end-user and training. Facilitating team processes; writing and reviewing Unit Testing and UAT test plans and scripts when necessary. Assisting and/or managing UAT with end users including coordination and user acceptance signoff. Configuring: business processes, security, integration/interfaces, and reports. Providing fit gap analysis, business process re-engineering, configuration, data conversion, application integration, testing, rollout and post-implementation support. Providing business analysis and requirements gathering skills with proven ability to think outside the box and find simple solutions to complex business problems.   The experience we’re looking to add to our team: Any graduate with Min 0-2Yrs of experience in IT Workday Technical Analyst who is open to work in other HR Software is must Creating functional design and integration specifications and working with technical resources (preferably in off-shore capacity). Ability to analyze business requirement and provide solutions. Working knowledge of Java, J2EE, XML, XPath, and XSLT. Basic developer knowledge of web services (SOAP, WSDL and the relationship to Schema). Technical experience in design, development, and implementation of web-based IT Applications.
