Monotype is looking for several data researchers as part of a new team focused on maximizing the value of data throughout Monotype. In this role, you will be responsible exploring and analyzing existing data in addition to performing web research and verification, primarily on information regarding companies associated people.
This is a highly dynamic and fast-paced role, and the right candidate will need to be a self-starter, curious and compassionate team player to succeed.
What you’ll be doing:
•Successfully complete all assigned research with efficiency and attention to quality and detail.
•Manipulate data in Excel and other data analysis tools.
•Validate existing or discover new data by performing searches using Google and/or available 3rd party databases.
•Record findings using critical thinking skills to assess quality and applicability.
•Identify data patterns using sort, filter, pivot functionality.
•Analyze given data sets and provide recommendations to improve future outcomes.
What we’re looking for:
•Bachelor’s Degree.
•Solid internet search skills.
•Critical thinking and attention to details.
•Willing to pivot and experiment when needed.
•Strong knowledge of basic Excel functionality: pivot, sort, filter, conditional formatting, etc.
•Team player attitude.
•Experience with Salesforce or other CRM/CDP databases/tools a plus.
•Experience with online directory data sources (LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, CAPIQ, etc.) a plus
•Monotype is expanding globally. Proficiency in one or more of the following languages is desirable (not mandatory) for this role: German, Japanese, French, Spanish.
