Job Description

Role- Graduate Engineer Trainee

Reports to – Manager, Software Testing

Location – Pune

Responsible for successful completion of the Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) programme and meet requirements of an RA Engineer • Designs, defines and implements complex system requirements for customers or prepares studies and analyses existing systems. • Determines system specifications, input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility. • Coordinates design of subsystems and integration of total system. • Identifies programme support deficiencies. • Develops and recommend corrective actions.

Some of the training would be self paced computer based training. - Assist the assigned mentor on completion of project work or initiatives and activities the mentor assigns - Report progress on periodic basis to mentor at Emerson as well as mentor assigned by the educational institute - Work with mentor assigned by educational institute to complete all academic requirements Prepare and submit a compilation / report of work performed as well as learnings on conclusion of internship to Emerson assigned mentor as well as mentor assigned by educational institute.  Who You Are:  You promote high visibility of shared contributions to goals. Candidates must have cleared all examinations upto VIth semester, and should now be pursuing completion of VIIth or VIIIth semester of B.E/ B.Tech – Chemical Engineering/ Petrochemical/ Polymer/ Petroleum Engineering   TECHNICAL SKILLS:  • Ability to read, write and speak with fluency in English • Ability to work with a team towards successful delivery of project or initiative • Ability to read P&IDs, PFDs • Ability to work with proficiency with MS Office applications including MS Word, MS Excel , MS PowerPoint and Visio • Ability and willingness to undergo technical as well as soft skills training as assigned by mentors • Knowledge of fundamentals of unit operations and process, process equipment design, numerical analysis methods and industrial stoichiometry • Experience in Microsoft Excel VBA Macro Development and/or Microsoft Access •  SOFT SKILLS:  • Communicates effectively • Demonstrates self awareness • Self Development Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: • Pursuing completion of B.E. / B.Tech – Chemical Engineering/ Petrochemical/ Polymer/ Petroleum Engineering (VIIth or VIIIth Semester) • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
