Test Engineer 
Work Experience
 

Roles & Responsibilities:
· Maintain the test framework for systems being tested on Windows and Linux
· Create software in support of testing and validation for a specific product line
· Software testing of a medical device using testing bodily fluids 
· Verify instrument functioning and calibrate specific lab instruments and documents data.
· Design test cases for products
· Generate tickets and follow-up with defects tracked using a project management database in an agile environment
· Implement tools to reduce effort required in day to day verification tasks
· Assist with the setup and emulation of customer systems
· Create load/stress testing scripts, tools and processes
· Perform overall quality control of QA work (Peer reviews)

Required Skills (Technical Competency):
1. Analysis and Design: Object oriented architecture, Design Patterns, UML
2. BDD
3. API Testing
4. Agile
5. Development and Continuous Integration:Visual Studio, Git, JIRA, Sonar etc.
7. Database: MongoDB, Postgres SQL
8. Testing: End to End testing using Selenium or Manual testing.

Desired Skills:
· Some laboratory or diagnostic experience desired.
· Ability to demonstrate competency of computer skills.
