The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills: Roles & Responsibilities: This is an exciting opportunity to join the Digital Solutions R&D team within Dematic. You’ll work with a great team to enhance our digital software that hundreds of customers around the world use to manage building, staff, renewable energy infrastructure and industrial machines used for material handling and warehouse automation. You will be working with existing DevOps, Development, Product and IT teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines, use Terraform and other cloud IaC frameworks to build infrastructure and configure them with Ansible and other tools, build monitoring /observability/alerting standards, architect and maintain network, security and backup/restore strategies, maintain and administer Development software like Jenkins, Gitlab, JFrog Artifactory. Required Skills (Technical Competency): Responsibility: Complete lifecycle responsibility of CI/CD pipelines for Cloud Software that runs in GCP Supporting and setting up standards for Cloud Applications - For Setting up new pipeline, governance policies, IaC, monitoring, alerts and backup/restore Ability to work in a Collaborative agile environment with development, product, and QA teams Familiarity with Scrum ceremonies and tools such as Jira for managing stories in a sprint Work with existing DevOps, Development, Product and IT teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines Use Terraform and other cloud IaC frameworks to build infrastructure and configure them with Ansible and other tools Build monitoring /observability/alerting standards, architect and maintain network, security and backup/restore strategies, Provide subject matter expertise to team members. May participate in teaching and training members of the work team. Drive quality and standards by implementing lifecycle infrastructure solutions and document associated operations May assist in live site support and incident resolution. Provide technical leadership for the offshore DevOps team Experience Overall 7+ Experience in Azure / GCP Cloud design concepts (e.g. Regions, Availability Zones, NSG, VPN, VPC, Subnets, Private/Service end points, Firewall setup) - 3+ years of GCP experience is highly desired. 5+ years Hands on experience with setup of Gitlab or Jenkins CI/CD pipeline with Terraform and bash scripts Must have 5+ years of work experience using public cloud Infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Kubernetes and Serverless stack built on frameworks like Terraform, Ansible, etc. 4+ years of experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools like Gitlab, GCP DevOps, Artifactory, etc. 3+ years of experience in public cloud services working with IaaS, PaaS Hands on Experience in working with a monitoring tool like Datadog for alert setup Strong scripting skills in Python, shell, Groovy, etc. Experience in setting up serverless environment like serverless functions, API Management, NoSQL, etc. would be a great plus Education Type B.E/B.Tech/BS-Computer Science Job Type Full Time-Regular Experience Level Mid Level Total Years of Exp 8+
