The Associate/Analyst roles will report to a local AVP and will be responsible for supporting first line of defense privacy risk management program and activities related to the collection, use, processing, sharing, and protection of bank individual client data.    

Key Responsibilities:

·         Support U.S. Banks Privacy Risk team managing the privacy risk program to ensure compliance with Privacy Laws/Regulations.

·         Specific duties may include:

·         Supporting the Privacy Incident Management process, including reviewing, analyzing and properly tagging privacy incidents that impact US Banks clients.  Goal of process is to identify/confirm data loss incidents recorded in firm system of record are accurately tagged to U.S. Banks when Banks client impact is identified.

 

Qualifications

Qualifications/Skills required:

·         Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, other related fields 

·         0-3 years (Analyst level) of professional experience, preferably in privacy, audit, and/or financial services industry. 

·         Experience with conducting impactful reviews (audits, process evaluations, gap assessments, etc.).

·         Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment, both independently and as part of a team, under tight deadlines.

·        Attention to detail; strong analytical and investigative problem-solving abilities, with the ability to explain/support conclusions from data       analysis.

·       Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English; capable of writing documentation, explaining complex topics,      and interacting positively with colleagues and stakeholders.

·         Proficient with Microsoft Office products. Advanced knowledge of Excel is a plus.

·         Knowledge of privacy laws/regulations (state, national, international) and data protection concerns is preferred.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES –      Partner with Regional Reps, Client Service Teams and other internal teams on new relationships. –      Become a contact for new accounts working to with middle offices and advisors to ensure a smooth account onboarding. This includes communicating to them to      answer onboarding questions, verifying account details and uploading inception securities and cash. –      Assist with establish new accounts in proprietary systems; coordinating with Client Service and Sales Team to ensure proper setup, as needed. –      Verify and coordinate all new accounts with the Activity Management Team and Portfolio Managers to meet daily deadlines and ensure the accounts trade. –      Complete the account process that have been built by Onboarding Associates by working externally with advisors and channel teams.  –      Certify all account documentation is received and properly submitted for archiving JOB QUALIFICATIONS SKILL SET Required Experience: 1+ years PRIMARY SKILLS –      Bachelor’s Degree (4-year degree), preferably in related discipline such as economics, finance, or marketing; work experience in lieu of degree will be considered –      A minimum of 1-2 years proven experience working with financial services advisors / money managers. –      Knowledgeable experience with registered investment advisors (RIAs), the Family Office community, separate accounts, unified managed accounts (UMAs),   institutional investors, tax-efficient products, and/or indexes a plus. –      Strong relationship-building skills and ability to thrive in team environment crucial. –      Excellent communication skills - both internally/externally in written/oral/auditory essential. –      Proficient with MS Office and the ability to learn additional internal/ external software programs. –      Resourcefulness, problem solving, and organization (ability to prioritize effectively) a must for success. –      Ability to work in fast-paced environment with several hourly deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
