What you’ll be doing...

 

You will contribute to creating, operating and supporting Cloud and DevOps Platform based Products/Services for mission and business-critical applications within Verizon. 

 

Utilizing knowledge to provision, deploy and configure AWS application as per solution architecture using CI/CD automation.


Managing, troubleshooting and supporting enterprise based apps in Onprem and Cloud (AWS/EKS/OCI) Env in a 24*7 support model
Defining and building CI/CD pipeline, automation using Devops and SRE framework.
Troubleshooting production issues and providing automated fixes, where possible.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

 

What we’re looking for...

 

You’ll need to have:

Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.

Experience working in a 24x7 production support model (in shifts) with excellent troubleshooting skills managing infrastructure on Onprem, Cloud (AWS/EKS/OCI) on Unix/Linux having weblogic, kubernetes, Springboot-microservices, etc.

Troubleshooting, Load balancing, Clustering, Deploying Applications, Performance Tuning and Maintenance; move manual ops workloads to Automation using standard DevOps/SRE Toolsets

 

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

Experience managing DevOps products like, Gitlab, Jira, Jenkins, Artifactory etc.

Understanding of provisioning, operating, and managing AWS environments.
