Instawork, a digital marketplace that connects local businesses with skilled hourly professionals across the U.S., is seeking engineering interns for July-Dec 2024. As an engineering intern at Instawork, you will be an integral member of our product development team, creating features to scale and improve our flexible staffing platform. Interns will receive mentorship to improve their software engineering skills and to learn how to work productively in a cross-functional team. Each intern completes and presents a portfolio-worthy capstone project at the end of the 5 month internship.  Check out our Engineering blog here

What you'll do?

• Work as part of our engineering team to develop features in our mobile app, web app, and internal tools
• Learn new skills through mentorship from senior engineers
• Deliver a capstone project at the end of the 5 months and present it to the engineering team

Who are you?

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Completed courses in Software Engineering and CS fundamentals
• Experience using Python, Ruby, or JS and SQL for backend, HTML/CSS/JS for frontend
• Able to work in Bangalore
