The Role
The QR payments market in India is touching $10B in value as of Sep’23 given the proliferation of UPI and promises to grow at a CAGR of ~16% in the years to come. Razorpay strives to be at the cutting edge of QR innovation and distribution by leveraging its offline expertise and relationships which it acquired with the acquisition of Ezetap Mobile Solutions in 2022. The responsibility in this role entails gaining an understanding of customer pain points with respect to in-store and at-delivery UPI QR payments and the TPAP (G pay, Phone Pe, PayTM) wars and effectively solving for them. Having a clear understanding of the market’s pulse on the subject at any point in time, strategizing a roadmap which not only brings us at par with the incumbent (PayTM) but lays the foundation for 10x differentiators and executing said roadmap to deliver both short term and long term value to small, medium and large businesses and drive sustained engagement in the form of net revenue and active users is the key ask.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Devise Product Strategy: Define both long term strategy and quarterly roadmap to achieve the product vision and create impact.
- Conceptualize new solutions: Product Conceptualization with a problem first, data-driven and test & iterate approach. Ensures conceptualization from a platform and a long-term view. Ensures value-based prioritization of product initiatives.
- Build products: Collaborate with Engineering and Design to build products that customers love. Produce high-quality product specifications and effectively prioritize and manage the scope of each product launch to deliver products and features on time.
- Launch products: Draft and execute a go-to-market plan in conjunction with Product Marketing. Be the internal and external authority and advocate for your given area of focus.
- Stakeholder Management: Working with senior management in Razorpay in defining the strategy for Core Banking Unit and collaborating with internal and external teams (banks & partners) to bring the strategy into reality

- You have at least 3 years of experience in Product Management. You understand technology, but love customer-first & business-first thinking.
