Job Developer:

Job title: IT Support Analyst (Java skilled)
Experience: Minimum 3- 5 years

Education: BE / B Tech / MCA

This role is responsible for support and maintenance of Trade Operations IT solutions. Position is responsible for monitoring IT solution availability, maintenance, change request development, root cause identification & corrective actions along with regular improvement of IT applications and processes. Position will require incumbent to directly work with business users over phone, email or meetings as needed. The role is viewed as skilled in IT frameworks, incident management, application development, performance tuning and troubleshooting of distributed application. The position manages the completion of own work assignments and coordinates work with others. Based on past experiences and knowledge, the incumbent works in close collaboration with peers & other IT teams.

Operational & Behavioural Competencies:
• Work collaboratively with distributed teams
• Recognize and troubleshoot moderate/complex technical problems within IT service agreement levels
• Monitors and pro-actively responds to output from tools and monitoring systems
• Excellent communication skills. Communicates with cross-functional teams, primarily at the individual contributor level, to provide problem resolution updates.
• Develop and maintain deep technical and business knowledge of the domain
• Participate in root-cause analysis of technical incidents.
• Work on multiple problems or projects simultaneously
• Self-starter with demonstrated ability to take initiative in a fast-paced environment

Technical skills:
• Good knowledge of object-oriented/Functional programming, Architecture
• Good development and debugging experience with Java/J2EE technologies (Web UI, JQuery, SQL Database, Openshift, Devops), including Spring (Spring Framework and Spring Boot), Hibernate, Web Application/Web Services with Tomcat, Restful Webservices, HTML and JSBs.
• Experience troubleshooting technologically challenging customer issues. Able to use advanced debugging techniques including analysis of tracing, and performance tuning and monitoring
• Experience in one or more relational databases such as Oracle, MYSQL.
• Good knowledge on SQL queries.
