Job description 

You’ll break new ground by:

  • The Senior ServiceNow Architect will work closely with providers to design a cohesive framework of applications, integrations, data, security, SLAs, workflows, AI Adoption and processes. They will lead the technical design working group, provide technical assistance, and suggest improvements to ensure a secure, robust, and scalable platform.
  • Define technical foundation in the ServiceNow Platform and design solutions that improve business outcomes.
  • Be a technical expert across multiple services to guide Service Owners, partners, and internal team members to provide successful customer solutions.
  • Ensure instance health by working with the engagement team to reduce technical debt and align to ServiceNow leading practices.
  • Define and Own platform governance frameworks to improve standard (Out-of-box) solution adoption.
  • Design technical solutions based on service owner requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Review requirements for detailed estimation and maintain compliance with ServiceNow license data.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to the provider team.
  • Conduct provider meetings and review governance reports.
  • Orchestrate service owner requirements and solutions, managing risks and challenges effectively.

You’re excited to build on your existing expertise, including:

  • At least 10 years of overall experience with a strong background as a Senior Technical Lead/Architect.
  • Active ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA).
  • Active Certified Master Architect (CMA).
  • Deep knowledge of ServiceNow solutions, including the ITSM, ITOM and CSDM products.
  • Experience in ITIL Process Definition, Integration Solutions, and Architecture level configurations.
  • Leadership in ServiceNow implementation projects and full lifecycle management.
  • Expertise in ServiceNow custom application design, development, and deployment.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow modules (HRSD) and ITIL V3 foundation certification.
  • Experience in architecting enterprise environments with multiple integration points.
  • Strong analytical skills and effective collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Advanced knowledge of CSDM & CMDB, Integration Hub, and Flow Designer.
  • Experience on Employee Center design and widget usage.
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing complex ServiceNow solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow scripting languages.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Strong business-facing and consulting abilities.

Master’s degree or relevant certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.  10+ years of extensive experience in a cloud architecture, engineering, or pre-sales consulting role with a primary focus on AWS and a secondary emphasis on Azure.  Profound knowledge and hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting cloud-based solutions using AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) and a solid understanding of Azure services (e.g., Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Functions).  Strong understanding of cloud security principles, compliance, and best practices across both AWS and Azure environments.  Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, presenting complex technical information clearly and understandably.  Strong problem-solving abilities, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges.
