Area of Responsibility: Working directly with the customer engineers to understand and document key test requirements. Work with sub-system experts to understand sub-system requirements and structure in order to specify and implement and design Define, design and deliver control functions including requirements, interfaces and algorithms Implement control functions in Matlab Simulink/Stateflow Ensure Model compliance to MAAB standards. C-code generation and analysis Conduct SW components testing using MIL and SIL techniques Testing SW components within the system on the HIL SW components verification & validation against requirements Development of MIL test strategy to ensure verified design and sub-system & software requirement Use your understanding of MBSD embedded system development workflow definition to support MBSD practices Work cross-functionally to deliver SW components Knowledge / Experience: At least 10 years' experience working in an automotive Tier 1 with 3 year OEM end to end feature development Demonstrative experience in the automotive sector A strong technical degree in mechanical, electronic, electrical, control systems or automotive engineering - consideration will be given to other qualifications or significant relevant experience in lieu of this. Model-based, auto-coded software prototyping and production implementation Support vehicle software testing and calibration Excellent Control theory background Excellent knowledge of Automotive Software across chassis system, hybrid supervisor, body systems, power management, transmission controls or HVAC applications Good knowledge of the above system(s) at System Architecture Level Software requirements capture and detailed software design into specifications Model-based control software development and verification AUTOSAR software components generation and integration Verification testing in MIL, SIL and HIL environments, and in-vehicle integration Compliance to industry standards such as ISO26262 and ASPICE Experience in fixed and floating point modelling Experience of designing and executing verification strategies and test plans for complex automotive systems Good grasp of test result analysis, issue reporting and problem solving techniques. Proven personal & team workload management skills Collaborative, working effectively across teams & departments to deliver on time & to quality. Desirable: Experience with Devops and SCM tools such as GIT, Jenkins
