Internship Program (Title): Technical Data Authoring
There is an opportunity in Airbus Customer Services to join the Operational Unit
"Technical Data Support and Services", which works towards developing and delivering aircraft maintenance documentation, to enable the safe and efficient accomplishment of maintenance operations by the customers (airlines, MRO, lessors).The products developed are AMM (Aircraft Maintenance Manual), TSM (Troubleshooting Manual), IPC (Illustrated Part Catalogue).
To deliver the complete documentation at aircraft entry into service and to maintain it throughout the aircraft life cycle is our main mission, and is part of the airworthiness requirements. The main challenge is to define precisely the consequences of the design changes on the already published documentation and to understand the immediate impact on Customers operations, with the objective to provide customized documentation in accordance with aircraft configuration.
Main activities: As an intern, you will have the opportunity to get trained on above mentioned products as per Airbus Tools & processes. Post training you will get exposed to the following tasks but working either yourself OR working close to Airbus TDA’s.
Main responsibilities:
1. Writing of Technical Data Authoring activities of a Manual in accordance with specifications
and quality standards contractual commitments, configuration management rules and
approved schedules.
2. Innovate and bring the process improvements in the technical data perimeter.
3. Assessment of aircraft design inputs (Mod & Mod Proposal, Service Bulletin, ...) that drive
aircraft evolution in order to detect the impacts in the technical documentation.
4. Coordination with numerous interfaces: customer services departments, design offices,
airlines, suppliers.
5. The jobholder also plays a key role in terms of continuous improvements for Technical Data
processes & tools and for transnational standardization of ways of working.
6. Ensure and maintain compliance with EASA/FAA regulations (ICA process) and EN9100 for
their own technical scope and perimeter of responsibility..
7. Provide continuous and efficient support to customers and all users of the Maintenance

Technical skills:
Must Have
● Engineer level with basic knowledge of Aircraft
● Knowledge of aircraft Systems
● Aircraft maintenance
● Aircraft configuration Management
● very good english level (written and oral)
Soft skills:
Team spirit is a must, Agile, adaptable, is challenging the status-quo;
Open mindset, think out of the box;
Specialization/Stream: Mechanical/Aerospace engineering specialization with very good knowledge, interest in Aircraft & Maintenance Processes.
