Role Description

Sales sub domain supports IT Processes for mobile sales force of the bank to provide fast and reliable information to our business partners in a secure, dynamic, integrated and mobile ready environment.

Collaboratively working with the business partners to convert the business needs into effective and compliant solutions which enables revenue growth.

This is an IC role where strong knowledge on Oracle and Informatica is needed.

Your key responsibilities

  • You are involved in the whole Software Development Lifecycle starting from analyzing requirements, developing, deploying and testing software as well as maintaining & continuously improving it.
  • Your primary focus will be on software design, development and unit-testing activities including peer code reviews.
  • You provide high-quality solutions that meet functional as well as non-functional requirements.
  • You actively participate and contribute into the sprint activities and ceremonies e.g. daily stand-up, Sprint planning, retrospectives, refinements etc.
  • You collaborate with other team members to achieve the sprint objectives.

 

Your skills and experience

  • Works and get involved in solution design, data models, re-architecture and technology delivery of simplification projects
  • Resolving issues in Oracle Database performance / application and SL3 support related issues
  • Ensuring availability of Environment through proactive planning of new infrastructure, performance, capacity and storage management
  • Research, construct, develop, and test complex SQL and PL/SQL scripts for new design and develop
  • Perform analysis, development, testing and debugging/defect fixing for the assigned stories/bug fixes
  • Develop Workflows, Sessions, Mappings in Informatica PowerCenter and Post deployment support and defect resolutions
  • Understand the existing ETL jobs and mappings, sessions and workflows
  • Troubleshoot ETL jobs and fix the issues based the priorities
  • Analyze and understand the data at source and target system to fix the issues within the specified timelines
  • Tune the Informatica mappings
  • Use structured coding methodology and "code once use many times" methodology so that the developed code is reusable
  • Develop the required functionalities using the appropriate technologies
  • Develop a good understanding of the activities required to execute the development/bug fix activity
  • Actively participate and contribute in Agile ceremonies including Daily Stand up's, Sprint Planning, Sprint review, Sprint retrospective meetings
  • Shall be ready to learn new technologies as per the project requirements
  • Experience on SDLC tools like JIRA, JAMA, Team city, Control-M, Jenkin etc
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects as assigned and interact with all areas of the organization to achieve timely results;
  • Perform code reviews/walk-throughs and unit testing of code developed by contract or new developers;
  • Good knowledge of code promotions and test that existing features are intact.
  • Experienced in code migration to higher environments.
  • Work with team members to develop program units that integrate seamlessly into the overall system.
  • Highly efficient in demonstrating Company's Core Competencies and values held within Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments
