Project Management: • To execute projects within the defined requirements (e.g., regarding targets for project cost, time, quality, functionality, and customer satisfaction) with close coordination across multiple functions including engineering, business controlling, supply chain management, logistics as well as interfaces with other project management offices as key internal stake holders. • Be responsible to drive the project according to areas of project management within Project Management Guidelines including preparing detailed project management plans, resources allocation, conduct monthly project reviews and reporting project health status, controlling NCCs, preparing / updating project risk register and derive mitigation measures, timely preparation of claims and ensure claim management, material handling and related logistics, and finally achieving execution excellence including higher customer satisfaction. • To prepare purchase requisition with detailed scope of work for contractors and support supply chain management during negotiations. • To possess strong analytical/problem solving skills and negotiation skills for effective handling of Risk and Opportunity as well as Claim Management leading to overall project success and customer satisfaction. • To consider travelling as an integral part of the job and ready to travel frequently for short to medium duration to sites for customer meetings during project execution. • To create new business opportunities while executing projects. • To adhere to highest safety standards and exhibit process-oriented approach. • To have knowhow of full profit and loss responsibility in managing projects in Oil & Gas / Paper & Pulp / Marine domain. Previous work experience with domain knowhow in these verticals shall have an added advantage. • To have experience in handling complex projects involving multi-cultural, multi-national, multi-regional, diverse group of project team members and stake holders as well as understanding topics related to taxation, cross-border staffing and contract management very well. • To be able to carry out Electrical project procurement activities as EPC Contractor. • To do meetings with client / consultant for their queries, issues during execution stage. • To be able to do technical discussion with Electricity Board & final load analysis approval. • To have knowhow of IS/IEC/IE standards for selection/sizing of equipment’s. • To understand & review the Key Single Line Diagram, design basis for project, planning of detailed Scope of Supply as per Specifications, Preparation of document control index, inspection categorization, project plan. • To prepare of purchase requisition with Tech. Specification of various Electrical Equipment’s i.e. data sheets for Transformer, DG Set, switchyard equipment’s, MV/LV/VFD/SST/Control panels, Drives, motors, DC system, Field equipment such as cables, cable trays, earthing, lighting etc. and also review vendor offers. • To have knowhow & understanding of Load Flow Analysis, Short Circuit Analysis & motor Acceleration, System Fault level calculation, Sizing calculations of transformer. Sizing calculations of HT/LT capacitors. Sizing calculations of DC system. Sizing calculation, emergency DG Set, Sizing calculations for Bus bar, CT/PT sizing calculations. NGR Temperature rise & sizing calculations. Heat load loss calculations. HT/LT cable sizing calculations for continuous current, steady & starting voltage drop calculations by analytical & vector method. Preparation of cable schedule. Earthing & lightning protection & zoning details. Cable trays sizing calculations. Illumination calculations. Area lighting design such as street lighting, room lighting & industrial lighting. Electrical input/output details for SCADA/DCS/PLC. Relay co-ordination concept. • To have knowhow & understanding of Electrical equipment layout (Sub-station Room) cable tray routing & Cable trench layout. cable gallery arrangement & load details as input to civil. Earthing & lightning protection layout lighting layout. PV, AC system layout. Civil work guide layout. • To have knowhow & understanding of Installation & Commissioning of equipment’s & Shut-down activities. • To have knowhow & understanding of Civil & Structural Work. We don’t need superheroes, just super minds • BE/BTech/Diploma – Electrical / Electronics / Industrial Electronics Engineering • Valid PM Certification from IPMA or equivalent or PM@Siemens will be an added advantage. • 7 to 10 year’s experience in Project Management for projects involving electrical components/systems across electrical and automation field with basic engineering knowhow. • Project knowledge for the named verticals will be an added advantage. • Has been part of a team working on similar role.
