Job description 

You will be working as Senior Finance Analyst and will be part of Finance Operational Service based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Accounting and Reporting Manager and will be responsible to support accounting and reporting matters to business or reporting units through resolution of accounting and reporting questions, financial statement reviews and preparation, as well as follow-up on accounting issues.

Your responsibilities

• Performing general accounting activities and recording of financial transactions
• Performing reconciliations of accounts and get to details for any discrepancies
• Performing accounting related analysis and generating reports to support finance queries
• Performing month end book closing and reporting activities
• Assisting team leader during the audits
• Performing such other activities as required to meet the stake holder’s requirement

Your background

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce (Master’s degree will be an added advantage)
• Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in general accounting, reporting, reconciliation and processing of journal entries
• Must have experience in Record to Report (R2R) and SAP
• Must be flexible in working for any shift timings
• Good communication skills
• Working knowledge in MS office
