Job description 

You will be working as OEM Service Sales Manager and reporting to Marketing & Sales Manager and will be part of Motion Business for Service division, based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be responsible for leading regional or local marketing and sales activities for products, systems, services within the defined industry segment(s) and ensuring that the related business substantially increases sales, margins, market share, and customer satisfaction in the selected market segments.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing a market-based strategy including direct, third party and project sales and interpreting the global OEM segment strategy to meet country requirements and implementing with country specific action plans
  • Leading the definition of OEM group footprint (market presence, execution standards, and delivery model)
  • Defining key targets (e.g., volume, prices, portfolio mix) and ensures those are achieved for the assigned segment(s) and ensuring detailed business or sales plans are in place with regular follow-up
  • Helping negotiate complex legal and commercial international frame agreements and ensuring ABB’s value proposition for the target segment is developed and well communicated (internally and externally)
  • Activating operation intelligence, benchmarking, and analysis to identify best processes, equipment, and automation practices, etc
  • Supporting local Sales organizations to ensure they are positively perceived in the target segment(s) and using standard reporting tools to accurately identify future opportunities and measure progress by segment
  • Identifying and managing risk relating to contract agreements and prices across segments and driving the growth of the top line in OEM segment

 

Your background

  • Degree in BTech/BE in any engineering discipline
  • Minimum 8 to 15 Years of experience in below Developing and implementing a market-based strategy including direct, third party
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships at senior levels with the key stakeholder
  • Ensuring that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled, and directed
