Examples of projects you will work on include:
Architecting and building solutions to the complex problems using the GenAI capabilities.
Drive AI experiments, evaluating LLMs and building POCs using the AI capabilities to influence the roadmap.
Write efficient and maintainable code in languages most suited to the AI/ML tasks (ex, Python).
Develop and deploy tools and processes to monitor API access patterns and operational health.
Continuously upskill yourself with the recent developments in AI and apply your knowledge for solving the problems.
Integrate AI capabilities from broader CapitalOne ecosystem to solve customer problems in a secure and compliant way.
Practice domain-compliant, secure and responsible AI.
Coach junior team members and influence technical decision making.
Collaborate with product managers, customers and other stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a technical field
At least 8 years of experience designing, building and deploying ML applications.
At least 8 years of experience programming with Python, Go, Scala.
Latest experience that showcases practical understanding of LLMs, prompting, fine-tuning, vector DBs, architectural design for chatBots and information retrieval using RAG.
Relevant experience of working with data engineers and understanding of data stores to accomplish the data requirements for the AI/ML project.
At least 4 years’ experience with a public cloud (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree or Phd in Computer Science or a related field
Familiarity with building large-scale AI products or platforms for NLP, speech, computer vision, or recommendation systems serving millions of users.
5+ years of experience in distributed microservices.
