Requirements:
Skills and mindset
A passion for UX design, information architecture, and interaction design.
6+ years of experience with the following:
designing complex applications, ideally in financial systems.
defining user flows and information architecture diagrams using tools such as LucidChart.
designing cross-device experiences using either Figma or Sketch.
managing multiple stakeholders and working with product owners to prioritize work.
designing for mobile (iOS/Android/mobile web).
using rigorous methodologies for solving complex user problems.
Bonus points:
Hands-on experience with user research
Experience working with and contributing to design systems
Experience designing for SaaS and Cloud-based software
Experience working on sprint teams as part of an agile project
Job Responsibilities:
User Experience Designer
The team
The UX team provides research and design expertise across multiple scrum teams, supports the evolution of our design system, and leads exploratory work that informs our strategic product vision. The team is responsible for advocating for the user experience across our ecosystem. We facilitate data-driven decisions through understanding user needs and problems, and evaluating solutions. Our goal is to drive customer delight and that ‘aha’ moment for our customers when they see the possibilities of Anaplan. We are looking for a passionate and organized UX Designer to work with Product Managers, UX Researchers, other UX designers, our Design System team, and Engineers to design user experiences across devices and our range of personas.
Job responsibilities
Deeply understand our user and advocate for their needs.
Run collaborative cross-functional design workshops to ideate on proposals.
Identify research opportunities and collaborate consistently with the UX Research team on programs that translate insights into great experiences.
Be able to design a holistic user experience—while adhering to our design system and incorporating research insights, user feedback, and design thinking methodologies.
Communicate ideas quickly and clearly through sketching or other lo-fi design techniques.
Describe solutions through light-weight design assets and UX acceptance criteria.
Contribute to the Anaplan Design System to further develop an evolving design language, to maintain a coherent experience across our ecosystem.
Meet with customers to discuss their requirements and get their feedback on proposed solutions.
Evaluate quantitative and qualitative feedback to improve solutions iteratively.
