And now, we are on the lookout for a great Senior QA who will be responsible for developing and implementing test plans, conducting manual and automated testing, identifying, and documenting defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software/products.
Below is a list of the background we would like our Senior QA to have:
- An Engineering or master’s degree from a reputed university
- 3-5 year of experience in manual End to End functional testing of web Applications including front end UI, API and backend databases like Elastic Search, MySQL, Mongo DB etc.
- Strong testing skills with a good grasp of testing methodologies and techniques. Preferably Agile
- Proficient in Front-end automated testing using Selenium.
- Proficient in backend manual testing and automated testing using Postman or Rest assured.
- Knowledgeable in creating Test Plans and Test strategies to go with an Agile development team.
- Should have good written communication skills to document test cases and scenarios.
- Should have good verbal communication skills to work with the developers.
- Should be able to create testing projects from scratch.
- Should be able to work as an individual QA contributor in a team of Developers.
- Should be able to work in an Agile environment.
As a Senior QA at Infrrd, your job responsibilities will include:
- Define Test Strategy for Product Features & Customer Projects
- Develop and execute detailed, comprehensive test plans and test cases., Traceability Matrix and Bug Reports
- Conduct both manual and automated testing to ensure the functionality, usability, and performance of our software/products.
- Collaborate with development, product management, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and identify potential areas of improvement.
- Participate in the design and implementation of test automation frameworks. Review automation PRs and help the team with automation when needed.
- Investigate and document defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Coordinate release cycles with different development teams.
- Perform regression testing to validate new releases and updates. Provide sign Off on Tests from different development environments - SIT, QA, UAT to move the application between environments.
- Contribute as an individual whenever the project needs it
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior QA team members.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging testing tools and technologies.
