An overview of this role

This role will be fully remote and based in India. The Sales Commissions Analyst provides support to GitLab's commissions programs globally. This requires someone to be extremely well organized, analytical and detailed-oriented. The Commission Analyst reports to our Director, Sales Commissions.

What you’ll do  

  • Support SOX compliance, documentation, and reporting
  • Assist with worldwide commission calculations, reporting, and first-tier end user support
  • Track and research compensation issues
  • Thoroughly understand and execute calculations on all compensation plans to ensure accuracy
  • Ensure commission plan participants are accurately credited for their transactions
  • Competency with compensation analytics tools required to support Sales and Sales Operations
  • Track and report on the status of plan acceptance to ensure compliance and timeliness
  • Maintain a focus on process improvement by identifying opportunities for efficiency and implementing time/resource saving solutions
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis & participate on projects as needed

What you’ll bring 

  • BA/BS degree in accounting, finance, economics or other quantitative fields preferred
  • 2+ years relevant experience and an understanding of sales incentive programs, processes and procedures
  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze data
  • A detail-oriented self starter with excellent problem solving, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • SFDC, G Suite and Xactly Incent experience 
  • SaaS and B2B experience preferred
  • Interest in GitLab, and open source software

We are integrated with Adobe.com digital marketing & engagement funnel and are developing capabilities on picking cues from the customers demographic (who) & behavioral (what) data that they leave on their journey with our business to predict next ‘sales action’ that will lead to revenue conversions (Future state). The Challenge: We are looking for a Sales Manager and Leader who is responsible for leading sales for a team and enable the Digital Sales team to continue exceeding the defined sales goals and KPIs across the North Americas territory. You would be responsible for the Digital Media portfolio of Adobe. An Ideal candidate would be a thought leader with a proven track record of leading successful sales operations on field or in Digital Sales of reasonable size and possess the ability to turn findings into executable plans.
