Position Description:

Backend & UI testing: Webservices, API Testing, Kafka testing, DB testing (Nosql - Cosmos), Automation framework design & development using frameworks like Cucumber, Selenium, JMeter.

 

Summary:

  • You will be responsible automating REST APIs, Web services, UI, Data base using Automation Framework.
  • Work closely with the Developers and Engineers to deliver high quality product for functional & non functional requirements
  • Design, review and execute test plans, scenarios, scripts and procedures.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including product & business to understand requirements, plan test strategies, demos in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.
  • Reporting, follow-up, Bug tracking and risks and escalations management.
  • Strive for excellence constantly to deliver quality product and test faster thought process.
  • Participate to develop associates on best practices surrounding quality.

 

Requirements:

• Graduate in CS or equivalent.

• 3 to 6 years of experience in Testing and Automation.

• At least 2-3 years hands-on scripting (automation) experience

• Good knowledge of CI/CD Pipeline.

• Experience testing different web service methodologies REST, Web services. JSON

• Validating and certifying web services using soap UI / Selenium / cucumber /JMeter

• Strong prior experience in QA test technologies such as Junit, Selenium or equivalent technologies

• Experience in agile methodologies.

• Hands-on Experience working with SQL & NOSQL DBs

• Experience with white box testing and building testing frameworks

• Experience in defect management tools like JRA, Confluence etc

• Added Advantage of any Cloud Platform, docker, kubernates

• Added Advantage of handling dockers containers with Kubernetes
