The Localization team creates dubs, subs, captions, audio description, and more, ensuring that media content resonates with audiences around the world in any language. The Localization Account Manager is charged with acquiring and consolidating information relevant to each project, passing the information on to operational areas in a concise and structured way and ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, in budget, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will work with operational heads and other stakeholders to explore workflow efficiencies in the fast-moving world of media & entertainment content localization.
What will your job look like?
- Manage project schedules and budgets for creation, conformance, and QC of scripts, subtitles, captions, dubs, and audio description
- Providing technical and process oversight for the creation of localized assets including subtitles, closed captions, audio dubs, and metadata
- Leverage knowledge of OTT platform asset specifications / style guides to ensure localized assets meet quality requirements
- Interface with clients and internal departments across the organization to ensure project needs and deadlines are met
- Provide technical and process oversight for the creation of localized elements
- Track and communicate project statuses and schedules
- Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks to schedules, budgets, quality, and relationships
- Contribute to continuous process and product improvements for scheduling, tracking, budgeting, forecasting, and billing
- Review content to document localization challenges and provide creative guidance to clients, dubbing studios, and other contributors
- Provide quotes and ensure that purchase orders are obtained in a timely fashion
- Participate scheduled and ad hoc meetings
- Collaborate with growing, global team to develop and improve processes, and to maintain alignment of capacity and capabilities with client needs

All you need is...
- 5+ years related experience
- 5+ years customer management
- Detailed understanding of content localization and accessibility, including scripting, subtitling, captioning, dubbing, voiceover, and audio description
- Experience with one of the subtitling tools like Subtitle Edit, EZ titles, Wincaps, OOONA is a must
- Thorough knowledge of film, video and file elements, workflows and technologies
- Knowledge of industry terminology and ability restructure client requests into actionable tasks for internal teams and external partners
- Ability to work without supervision and handle heavy workload
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders effectively
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to adapt communication style to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Competence in Excel or similar tools; competence in tools to model processes and workflows visually is a plus
- Eagerness to learn new skills and share knowledge with internal and external teams
- Effective problem solver able to assess and adapt to changing priorities and strategies
