Role Purpose Summary: This role is an Individual Contributor role. It is for a professional level member of a Global R&D Team. The individual is hands-on Program Manager in Electrical/Electronic engineering domain who is motivated & technically proficient in Product Life Cycle Management. The person will play key role in applying engineering knowledge to assist team in its Risk Mitigation strategy. The person would also be stearing to resolve intricate design challenges. Responsibilities: Project Management leadership of Sustenance projects to ensure business continuity. Define scope, Develop Project Plan, Risk Management and other requirements as per Business unit specific QMS process Meet the key business metrics for the project. Work with global site teams to maintain alignment on business unit manufacturing teams and existing product owners. Work closely with cross-functional teams during all phases of the project phases and ensure results are in alignment with QMS checklist Provide project updates on a regular basis and keep them up to date on the progress and risk profile. Candidate Requirement: Bachelors’ degree in Engineering with strong understanding of Embedded Hardware domain Proficiency in handling PCBA redesign/respin's with high complexity 12 plus years of overall experience with minimum 4 years of "Project Management" experience (relevant) leading through stage-gate processes. Minimum of 3 years of proven track-record in Sustenance Engineering projects with ability to multi task around 4 to 5 projects will be added advantage. Alternatively, minimum 4years of complete cycle of Product development experience in the role of PM, knowledgeable about PDLC process & Practices, Audits. Capability to mentor budding leaders to grow. Critical Thinking, ability to comprehend the situation/ Problem, Highlight on time. Effectively identify, measure, communicate and de-risk, recommend options which are supported by a data driven rational. Ability to develop communication management plan, strategy to engage and influence them throughout the project’s life cycle. Ability to crisply & clearly articulate Project status & drive vital influence to bring closures to action items. Strong leadership, prioritization abilities and accountability. Excellent problem-solving skills as well as keen analytical abilities Expertise in leading Scope, Schedule, cost & Quality requirements and ability to facilitate & change management Lead end to end project: engaging cross functions, driving accountability, execution and continuous change management to deliver timely with quality. Proficient in the use of project management tools, techniques and software tools. Use of negotiation skills and proficiencies (e.g. resource prioritization). Making sure the project remains a top priority in the organization’s portfolio, convincing the review Board to make certain decisions when undergoing a stage gate review, and encouraging and promoting stakeholder support. Good to have skills: PMP or equivalent certification Experience in embedded (Electronics) and connected (Internet of things) domain Fair knowledge on Compliance\regulatory requirements of laboratory equipment & Medical devices. Awareness in product development methodologies like Agile/SCRUM Proficient in tools like Microsoft Project Planner or similar
