Job description 

Primary Responsibilities
·Design, engineer, operationalize and maintain the secure systems
which support continuous deployment/integration solutions with strong
focus towards innovation and meet the needs of customer-facing
applications, business applications, and/or internal end user
applications. 
·Function as member of an agile team by contributing to software
builds through consistent development practices (tools, common
components, and documentation) 

·Have strong software development, problem solving and debugging
skills.
·Enable the deployment, support, and monitoring of software across
test, integration, and production environments 
·Automate deployments in test or production environments 
·Automatically scale applications based on demand projections 
·Provides technical expertise to design integrations and automate
solutions. 
·Provides technical support to Develop, Maintain, customize secure
COTS products
·5+ years of experience in large-scale software development.
·5+ years of experience with developing applications/web services and
cloud-native apps using technologies like Java, Spring Boot, REST API,
JPA, and other tech stacks (open-source and proprietary).
·3+ years of designing and developing highly scalable Microservices,
Webservices, and Rest API's.
·3+ years of designing and developing in a Test-Driven Development
environment.
·5+ years of experience with build and deploying services in CI/CD with
using tools like GitHub, CircleCI, Harness, Jenkins, GitLab.
·2+ years of experience working with KAFKA DB, NoSQL DB & Cache
Datastore DB.
·1+ years of experience with containerization and orchestration
technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
·1+ years of experience working in cloud platforms like GCP, Azure,
AWS, etc
·Experience in Automation – Experience writing scripts from scratch
that have been used specifically for automation. Ideally shell but any
language will work 
·Full stack knowledge of application architectures including Single Page
Applications, REST APIs 
·Strong expertice with Go, Java, Python, JavaScript 
·Full stack knowledge or familiarity with database architectures
including Postgres, NoSQL Databases. 
·Experience working with public cloud services (preferably AWS or GCP)
and a proven track record of building complex infrastructure 
·Continuous delivery experience/DevOps/Agile 
·Familiar with Agile or other rapid application development methods 

·Hands-on expertise with design and coding across one or more
platforms and languages as appropriate and automated testing.
·Ability to work with Infrastructures and Platforms including IaaS, PaaS,
Cloud technologies and tools for Continuous Integration (CI) and
Continuous Delivery (CD) 
Preferred Qualifications: 
·Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems,
cybersecurity, or a related field. 
·Overall 5+  years of relevant industry experience
·Technical and Security Experience 
·Professional certifications (CSSLP,CISSP).
·Ability to conduct lead proof of concepts.
Other skills 
·Proven diagnostic, troubleshooting, and service restoration skills. 
·Excellent interpersonal skills, customer service skills, and English
communication skills with difficult customers in outage situations. 
·Metrics management 
·Knowledge of virtualization environments (e.g. VMWare, OpenStack,
KVM)
·Knowledge of distributed version control systems (e.g. Git/Stash)
·Experience with automated build and deployment tools (Jenkins, Chef,
etc.)
·Experience working on open source platforms (Apache, Tomcat, nginx,
Node.js, etc)
·Hosted and cloud-based service experience (EC2/AWS and/or private
cloud)
·Excellent writing and communication skills
·Prior Application Security Knowledge.
