Senior Systems Analyst
The Senior System Analyst job works in the technical design, development, and implementation of application systems. While working independently with limited supervision, this job delivers new design and development specifications based on customer requirements, while adhering to standard procedures and techniques.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Implements detailed business, functional and technical requirements and specifications for applications.
• Develops applications and configures commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) applications using programming, scripting, and database languages.
• Manages application testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and coding application enhancements.
• Prepares activity and progress reports regarding applications systems analysis and programming sections.
• Tracks and maintains up-to-date records of all configuration updates.
• Coaches and reviews the work of lower level professionals.

Educational Requirements

• University (Degree) Preferred

Work Experience

• 3+ Years Required; 5+ Years Preferred

Looking for seasoned professional (Specialist) with 5- 7 yrs of DataStage (ETL) and Mainframes experience.

Min 5+ years of experience of working on IBM DataStage tool with hands on experience in Designing, Configuring & Building of optimized/complex ETL jobs that handles large volume of data.
Has good understanding of Unix commands and scripting

Extend DataStage Support in L1/L2 capacity. Being able to efficiently debug and troubleshoot Distributed issues.
Evaluate existing data solutions, enhance ETLs, develop documentation, and train/help team members.
Collaborate and work with business/users/admin and other app support teams and infrastructure teams on environmental issues and follow the task to completion.
Participate & provide support for releases, risks, mitigation plan for project roll out.
