The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills: Roles & Responsibilities: Be able to understand how SW and HW interact, and how it works together. Be logical and have knowledge of tracing faults to its source (HW or/and SW). Transferring requirement into executable test cases and transfer these into test scripts. Build & deploy the automation test suits for automating the manual testing activities. Develop automation test framework, test suits and integration level of testing using Python. Be able to evaluate outcome of an executed test case, and then, if needed report deviations from expected system behaviour. Be responsible for documents like Test Specification, Test Environment Specification, and Test Record. Committed, engaged with the ability to prioritize and take ownership of tasks. Experience of other safety-critical systems is highly valued. Required Skills (Technical Competency): Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electronics or other equivalent Engineering discipline Minimum 7 years of experience in Embedded software development or testing for safety critical application Design and Develop Test Automation Framework, Implement and support the enhancement Possess good experience and knowledge of testing practices and techniques to support the methodology Good Experience in Python development, implementation on Test Automation Projects Able to design and develop test automation solutions for different projects Good scripting knowledge in Python and Linux Operating Systems Test knowledge - have good experience of different test stages within a development project, general (test) process knowledge, how different test methods can be applied for different situations, be able to see the system under test from the test perspective Have the ability to monitor the effectiveness of the QA function and bring about improvements through insights gained via analysis at all stages of the STLC. In-depth knowledge of Testing concepts and Test Project management. Desired Skills: Project Management Tools - DOORS / Rational Synergy / Scrum Agile Practice Understanding of Test Requirements, Testing principles and methods, Unit Testing and Functional test methods Need basic understanding on Linux system and Linux commands.
