Job description 

You are

  • Responsible for product deployment and support before / after launch for key contract delivery
  • Trouble shooting product issues and support our customers
  • Reproducing issues in lab, cause analysis and following-up with R&D
  • Support pre-sales engagement on service (effort estimation, delivery model , project plan etc.)
  • Performing studies and understand SES product and relevant solution call flow details, release over release
  • Working and delivering customer solution design (HLD, LLD, TOL etc)   in contract fulfillment  phase
  • Backend support SI team for solution call flow and deep level trouble shooting
  • A bridge for key stakeholders (PNS, RND, Product Line,  MA/CU)
  • Lead and/or contribute to PNS asset tools, WoW and all possible improvement
  • Leading in providing feedback to RND on product improvement and product quality assurance
  • Continuously improving on delivery efficiency using automation
  • 24 x 7 hotline and live site emergency handling (optional)
  • Ensure software code quality, testability, maintainability, and function usability.
  • Continuously invest and expand technical competence

To be successful in the role, you must have

  • Experience on customer solution design and/or requirement analysis
  • Experience on project planning and execution as major contributor, preferably as a technical leader
  • Network trouble-shooting experience with TCP/IP/HTTP and familiarity with OpenSSL/HTTPs
  • Hands-on experience on Linux, familiar with SUSE or RHEL etc.
  • Knowledge on Virtualization and Cloud, have hands-on experience on KVM, VMware, Kubernetes, etc.
  • Good Scripting experience using Python, Perl, Shell, etc.
  • Hands-on experience in DB including PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL etc.  Advanced configuration/Tuning experience is optional.
  • Familiarity with Entitlement and Configuration solution for GSMA TS.43, RCC.14, etc. standards, and the Apple iOS devices.
  • Basic understanding of JAVA or C++, NodeJS
  • Knowledge of Telecom Network including Core, Radio Access (optional)
  • Understanding of LDAP/Diameter /SNMP (optional)
  • Have customer solution design experience like HLD, LLD, TOL etc. (Optional)
  • Strong initiative and product ownership
  • Creative problem-solving and excellent troubleshooting / debugging skills
  • High level of customer focus and being accountable
  • Excellent team spirit
  • Ability to articulate and lead technical discussions

Key Qualifications:

Minimum years of relevant experience: 5 - 10 years of overall experience with a minimum of 3+ years on telecom SW product support on a virtualized Device Entitlement or Enterprise or telecom carrier grade product

Education: Bachelors or Masters in Engg. / Tech. (CS/EC/EE/EIE, etc.)
