Job description 

Introduction:
o    Be part of Avaloq testing team.
o    As a “Avaloq Tester” –
ï‚§    Under moderate supervision manages test project (small / medium), its risks and dependencies
ï‚§    Precise test execution, defect reporting and tracking
ï‚§    Escalates issues to Test Manager or Portfolio Test Lead as appropriate
ï‚§    Work with development team to create test plans for enhancements and fixes on applications
ï‚§    Responsible for ownership of testing of assigned modules/functionalities
ï‚§    Develop and execute Automation pack on Avaloq platform

What will you be doing?
o    Support preparation of Test Plans as per requirement.
o    Execute planned regression tests
o     Support UAT / OAT
o    Support  the preparation of Run Plan and Execution Plans
o    Execute tests, track and monitor defects to closure and produce test metrics and test report
o    Capable of owning the testing of module/functionality individually
o    Develop and execute Automation pack on Avaloq platform

What we’re looking for:
o    Testing experience
o    Experience in Banking domain - core banking product
o    Strong experience and knowledge in testing and defect management
o    Good communication Skills, Smart present ability
o    Effective communication skills with other development team members, project managers, managers and users across multiple global locations.

Skills that will help you in the role:
o    Prior experience on Avaloq
o    Agile Experience will be an added advantage
o    Banking experience in Investment Banking, Wealth Management
o    Basics of AWS

Creation and execution automated test scripts, leveraging testing frameworks and tools to facilitate early detection of defects and quality issues.         . Collaboration with cross-functional teams to analyse requirements, participate in design discussions, and contribute to the development of acceptance criteria, ensuring a thorough understanding of the software being tested. Root cause analysis for identified defects, working closely with developers to provide detailed information and support defect resolution.
