Role & Responsibilities

Fluence is seeking engineers for a high-value project to automate the time-series operating data collected from utility-scale battery energy storage systems. The ideal candidate would:

·        Be responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimizing data infrastructure for data collection, management, transformation, and access.

·        Oversee creating pipelines that convert raw data into usable formats for data scientists and other data consumers to utilize.

·        Document processes and procedures considering the ITIL/ITSM Framework

·        Find and fill gaps in current Data Management processes.

·        Verification that data was published successfully.

·        Regularly delete data following successful migration, with regular migrations until the next generation of operating system is fully deployed.

·        Execute post-migration and data retention strategies.

Preferred Skills

·        Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college

·        5+ Years of Relevant Experience.

·        Python, Jupyter Notebooks

·        RDBMS (MySQL/MariaDB/Postgres)

·        Apache Parquet, Pandas, PyArrow, PySpark

·        Linux

·        AWS S3, AWS Glue, AWS SageMaker, AWS EMR

·        Agile / Atlassian Jira

·        ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) framework understanding

·        Salesforce Asset Integration

·        Proficient in Microsoft Office
