About the Role:
Gartner is looking for a full time Business Analyst to join our team! The Business Analyst collaborates with the core program Scrum Teams to create a backlog, translate business requirements into technical requirements, and create work units for the technical teams. The role reports into <insert team>, Service and Corporate Delivery team who oversee our CRM platforms and its related data, as well as a variety of tools and integrations. Key end user communities include Sales, Research, Finance, and Service Delivery.
What you’ll do:
Work with POs multiple times a week in backlog refinement and sprint planning sessions to groom user stories.
Create high level conceptual functional processes and data flows that assists in solutioning and helps technical teams build technical system flows and solutions.
Create and maintain functional documentation using Confluence, Lucid, Jira, and other tools.
Create best practices in breakdown of work units from high level business requirements to Epics, Stories, and Tasks.
Translate business requirements into functional design components that help Developers to perform technical design, and QA team members to create test scenarios and scripts.
Triage User Stories across 1 or 2 scrum teams and closely collaborate with PM/Scrum master in delivery of features for CRM/Sales.
Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders from other applications that integrate with Salesforce CRM in design sessions.
Able to configure simple reports, list views, and other configuration options that are available in the Salesforce platform.
Able to apply application and security framework concepts in Salesforce to application delivery.
Able to work with POs and Technical team members on UI/UX design.
Drive Sprint demos of new features and capabilities
Gather, analyze, and synthesize customer feedback to inform product decisions
Perform data analysis and profiling as requested by the PO’s and Scrum team members for data driven decision making.
What you’ll need:
Strong IT professional with 3-4 years of experience specializing in the business and technical analysis of software development in the Salesforce platform. The candidate should have strong qualitative and quantitative problem-solving skills along with high ownership and accountability.
Must have:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related subjects.
Minimum of 3-4 years of Salesforce configuration including application and data security frameworks.
Minimum 3-4 years of experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud or Service Cloud platforms and functional knowledge of key business objects in these cloud applications.
Strong broad-based understanding of one or more CRM (mainly Salesforce) applications, and its modules.
Hands-on experience in reports/dashboards in Salesforce.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in breaking down business requirements into Epics, Features, and User Stories in an Agile Scrum or Kanban environment.
Working knowledge of Agile Scrum practices.
Working knowledge with SDLC and collaboration tools like JIRA, Confluence, LucidChart or Visio, and MS Teams.
Prior experience as a business analyst with experience in drawing functional processes and data flows.
Detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills
