The Role: 

The mission of the Apps Team is to gather, enrich and make useful the vast quantities of data that powers CommerceIQ DSA products. We currently gather data from around 750 retailers worldwide, and we’re continually growing.

We’re looking for a skilled application engineer to join the Apps Team to develop and maintain app crawlers to meet the ever-increasing need of our rapidly growing customer-base.

What You'll Do: 

• Apply your engineering skills to the development and maintenance of Mobile App Crawlers.
• Assessment and feasibility check of mobile app crawlers development.
• Produce high-quality code in alignment with the squad’s coding standards and design practices
• Play an active role in the growth and development of the squad; explore and learn new techniques, technologies and tools.
• Own your changes from development to production and beyond
• Solve challenging problems and issues of Mobile App Crawlers.

What You'll Bring: 

• Hands-on experience developing systems and products using JavaScript or TypeScript
• Understanding of web technologies
• Good in Coding, Problem solving and DSA
• Good interpersonal and communications skills
• A passion for delivering quality software
• Desire to learn new things
• Good troubleshooting skills

Nice to Haves: 

• Familiarity with SDLC and agile methodologies
• Hands on experience of building services in the cloud, especially with Google Cloud Platform
• Familiar with containerisation using Docker and Kubernetes
• Idea of infrastructure as code, especially with Terraform
• Data analysis and SQL skills
