Job description 

What you will do (or learn to do)

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within our distributed systems, ensuring a stable and performant infrastructure.
• Build and refine our AWS application stack, ensuring it can handle millions of users and petabytes of data.
• Develop containerized microservices, and support product deployment across various environments.
• Strengthen application and infrastructure security to comply with global standards, including meeting the stringent compliance requirements of governments as well as enterprises.

What you should already know

• A solid grasp of Linux systems, data structures, and algorithms, along with a propensity for tinkering with systems.
• At least one year of experience writing secure, scalable code.
• Good fundamentals of distributed systems, and experience in hosting/managing services.
• Familiarity with DevOps and SRE principles. We are tools-agnostic and often build our own, or extend existing tools and services.

Good to have

• Experience owning significant pieces of cloud infrastructure on providers like AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Experience building or contributing to open source projects.
