Apprentice- QA

Roles and Responsibilities:

·       Reviewing software requirements

·       Create and execute test scenarios.

·       Analyzing test results on function impacts, errors or bugs, and usability.

·       Preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the development team.

·       Interacting with different stakeholders (QA, Development, Operations, Define) understand challenges they face. Taking action based on the same to run the business smoothly.

·       Participating in providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.

·       Automate test scenario / test cases replay using enablers provided by Software Engineers

·       Replaying the Automation test scripts and analyzing test results to provide status on weekly basis.

·       Leveraging customer usage and user feedback to improve test effectiveness

·       Mobile testing

·       Security, based on Security team guidance (tools, scenarios)

·       Execute Non-Functional Tests:

o   Performance, Capacity, & Scalability

o   Installation, upgrade

QA Engineer In this role, you will be part of our Spatial Quality Assurance team, a part of the Technologies R&D division of Dassault Systemes. This team is responsible for the validation of one of the leading 3D Interoperability software components in the industry. As part of this team, you will work closely with the development teams to create automated testing strategies and enhance the automated test suite. You will work with various CAD modelers used in the industry. This position is based in Pune, INDIA.   Role description & responsibilities ·         Develop and maintain automated tests in the domain of 3D CAD interoperability ·         Develop expertise on usage of industry standard CAD modelers like Inventor, Creo, Solid Edge, Smart3D ·         Understand the industry usage of domains such as Mechanical CAD, Architectural CAD, Plant Design ·         Use VB and other scripting tools to automate CAD model creation ·         Monitor and validate the performance of CAD translation tests Validation of customer reported issues after they are fixed by development Qualifications ·         A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in engineering ·         Experience in the area of software testing ·         1-4 years of experience using one or more CAD softwares (CATIA, Creo, SolidWorks etc) ·         Experience with at least one scripting language (shell, Python, Perl, LISP, Scheme, VBA, JavaScript, etc) ·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills ·         Strong problem-solving skills   What’s in it for you ·         Work in a culture of collaboration and innovation  ·         Be at the forefront of building software products that are being deployed in mission-critical projects world wide  ·         Be offered avenues to develop yourself for career progression  ·         Not a low-level development opportunity, as you would get to work in the real business world and with a wide range of customers & coworkers
