Join the founding team of a new project at Plum and assist our clientele in purchasing life insurance products. Role & Responsibilities
  • Assist Plum’s clientele to purchase life insurance products in line with their needs
  • Understand the clients’ requirements recommend products that are best-suited to the clients’ needs
  • Structure a best-fitting product as per requirements
  • Guide them through the purchase journey
  • Ensure a high level of responsiveness with prospects through the sales process and thereafter
  • Navigate complex sales cycles in tandem with some of the largest insurers to ensure best-in-class experience for the customers
  • Strengthen the direct-to-customer sales vertical at Plum
  • Realise the tremendous advantage that Plum has, being a insur-tech forerunner, to build strong, reciprocatory relations with partner insurers
  • Help build processes and best practices targeted towards ensuring first-class purchase experience for Plum’s clientele
  • Draft and review SOPs around building a robust sales funnel to to ensure timely and smooth scaling up of operations
  • Liaise with partner insurers to develop and enhance product offerings, manage day-to-day operations wrt policy booking, placement, and post sales services
Requirements
  • 1-4 years of sales experience; preferably at a fast-growing BFSI/SaaS startup/consulting/B2B Sales
  • The ability to execute highly credible and articulate face-to-face, over the phone, and email conversations
  • The ability to pitch complex ideas & a products in an elegant, compelling way
  • The ability to work with tight targets and timelines
  • A highly professional and results driven outlook
  • A high degree of coachability and great listening skills
  • Real strength around process management and implementation
  • Eagerness to learn, has a stronger challenger mindset to work at multiple level with different partners
  • Good to haves
  • Experience of having worked with an insur-tech / insurer / broker agency is a big plus
  • Experience of having worked in financial services / personal finance / wealth management space is a good to have

Strong track record building relationships and a knack for understanding the client’s industry and business/technology challenges. Demonstrated success structuring and selling complex, enterprise software solutions to large clients in financial services/banking a plus. Knowledge or experience in Consumer Lending, Credit Risk, Account Management, Retail Banking and Fraud is also a plus. Have a deep interest in, and or experience in both the technical and business use of data, behavioral profiles, decision management, orchestration, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Simulation, and Optimization in SaaS offerings.
