As a Senior Database Administrator, you should have strong experience as a DBA, including hands-on experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL, Mysql, MS-SQL database planning, administration, performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting on premise as well as Cloud.
 

As a Senior Database Administrator, you will be responsible for:

• Managing the databases with knowledge regarding the monitoring tools. Should have the Cloud Native knowledge (AWS and Azure) and methodology to migration of the Database on the Cloud.
• Having Proficiency in backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies for databases.
• Having Familiarity with database consolidation and migration techniques.
• Having knowledge of export control requirement and data security best practices.
• Understanding of Oracle and PostgreSQL licensing models and license management.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Bachelors degree with minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Have an understanding of Oracle and PostgreSQL licensing models and license management.
• Have knowledge regarding the monitoring Tools for managing the databases Should have the Cloud Native knowledge (AWS and Azure) and methodology to migration of the Database on the Cloud.
• Be aware of managing the compliance of the databases
• Be Familiar with database closures and acquisitions during data center (DC) closures and merger
• Have Strong understanding of compliance requirements and data protection regulations. Experience working with ITIL tools and managing databases within defined SLAs.
• Have Proven track record in project management, demonstrating the ability to lead and deliver successful database-related projects.
