Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure and develop HMI & SCADA applications Plan, Specify, Organize and participate testing
  • Produce high quality documents and specifications
  • Knowledge in HMI design
  • Knowledge in communication protocols
  • Knowledge in Ethernet network configurations
  • Support for commissioning

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

  • Working experience in DCS, HMI Design and System design
  • Proficient in HMI implementation & testing in any DCS
  • Preparation of Screen layouts, animation, alarms/event indications, HMI philosophy, navigation etc.) of legacy system (ABB/3rd-party System)
  • Convert HMI data files to  port to 800xA & Splus using inhouse tools
  • Implementation of the HMI on target system (800xA, Splus)
  • Testing of HMI
  • Proficient in Interpreting P&IDs, HMI navigation strategies, alarm and event management
  • Working knowledge in ABB products – 800xA / Symphony Plus
  • Knowledge in ISA/ASM standard methodologies)
  • FAT Support (if needed) & Remote support for any field issues
  • Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills

Desired Skills:

  • Controllers: 800xA / Symphony Plus
  • Control Software: Automation Builder
