What you’ll do:

 

As a member of the Observability Dev team at Aruba Networks a HPE company, you will participate in developing next-generation cloud based observability framework based on Opentelemetry. Aruba Networks is known as the Biggest Small Company, and we are looking for fun and creative people, to build great things and delight our customers. Observability project will have high impact and visibility. Responsibilities include owning high performing teams. Participate in release planning meetings, provide inputs, own part of release. Understand SDLC, and different stakeholders for the product, i.e. Dev, QA, PLM, management, Support engg org, customer, dev-ops. Understand the impact of functional ask, plan for resources, coordinate with various other teams within Aruba, basically own the end-to-end feature delivery. Ensure that teams take care of scalability at every step of design, development. Good verbal communication within the local teams, and written communication with distributed team, and other stakeholders w.r.t. given task

 

What you need to bring:

  • BE or MS/M.Tech with 1 to 3 years of experience (Technical/IC Role)
  • Must have worked on OpenTelemetry. 
  • Knowledge in areas of performance and scale testing, and performance measurement approaches
  • Strong in Cloud Engineering skillsets, and have worked in the Linux environment 
  • Must have worked in agile environment, with CICD exposure
  • Must have worked with automation frameworks (e.g. Jenkins)
  • Must have used scripting languages (e.g. python) for test script development
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases at conceptual level; able to debug DB related product issues
  • Ability to drive software test strategy; test plan, test case creation and review
  • Experience with Virtualization (say VMWare) – setting up of VMs, optimization/tuning of virtual machine configurations
  • Exposure to AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, Rackspace, etc., would be a value add.
