We are looking for hard-working and passionate people to be part of our Enterprise Architecture team and define the future enterprise cloud architecture along the entire value chain of the re-/insurance business.

 

To help meet the goal of running a 24x7 business for our clients: the world's biggest insurance companies and corporate customers, we work closely with the architects, the frontline business solution innovation teams and the infrastructure engineers who build our cloud platforms.

 

Key Responsibilities
We collaborate with the architects across Swiss Re to make recommendations and define standards and guidelines for technology in our cloud environments. We are part of managing the technology landscape for the organization following Enterprise Architecture processes. We join forces with the project teams to ensure compliance with Group technology standards, EA requirements and guidelines.
 

You will lead initiatives within EA, participate in defining and communicating EA goals across the architecture community. You will develop, support, and communicate the future state of technology based on organization and business domains' goals and map out how to achieve the target state. 
 

Finally, you identify and continuously improve architecture processes, tools, and governance in all domains of IT, business, applications, data, platforms, and technology. You will work with a wide array of engineers, Tech Area Leads, business architects, senior management, and business teams to discover and synthesize market research, user needs, business requirements, and technical approaches.
  
Job Requirements

  • Have a strong affinity to technical and cloud architecture and the analysis of solutions, services, and platforms.
  • Have 10+ years' experience of architecture, with 4 of those as an enterprise/solution architect 
  • Show accomplishments in technology evaluation, technical analysis, and hands-on architecture
  • Feel comfortable working in a fast-paced surrounding, can get things done and deal positively with ambiguity
  • Strive to continuously research current and emerging technology trends and assess the opportunities for our business
  • Have experience in working with various cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure and/or other cloud platforms
  • Can support our team and can guide our business and technical colleagues, pro-actively aligning with them and actively contributing to their success
  • Have experience in enterprise architecture frameworks, e.g., TOGAF, Zachman etc.

 

Education

  • Possess a Masters/Bachelor's relevant degree (e.g., Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science) or demonstrate equivalent experience
  • Experience in cloud computing (e.g., applications, infrastructure, storage, platforms, data), cloud market, and engaged dynamics.
  • Certification in Architecture framework, e.g., TOGAF, Zachman etc

Overview Enterprise testing team requires a Test Engineer, Security testing expert and Automation expert resource to perform testing activities and coordinate with other testing resources required for the project, along with planning and preparing the necessary activities before testing execution, along with providing status reports for execution, defect, risk and issue management for the project.
