Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.
Whether you are accessing a website or a mobile app, people have high expectations of the apps that they regularly use. As a result, companies must continuously deliver new features and fixes. In the past, this process was painful because an application was usually developed, built, and made available as a single, often monolithic, application.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Overall 13+ years of Microservices, Application-level design and architecting for SaaS applications and cloud-based applications. DevOps, open-source tech stack, security, scalability, performance tuning
  • Good understanding and experience of cloud native application design principles (like micro-services, stateless application meant for cloud, containers, 12 factor app principles etc.)
  • Experience with Java, Spring, Spring Security, Spring MVC, Spring Integration, Spring Data Familiarity with application and infrastructure monitoring tools such as New Relic, Splunk
  • Familiarity/Experience with container technologies, e.g., Docker, Kubernetes etc.
  • Knowledge on CI/CD tools like Bosh, Chef, Puppet, Jenkins, Git, Concourse is preferred.

  • Creative problem-solving skills and superb communication Skill.
  • Ability to handle change and be open to it along with good time management and an able to work under stress.

Overview The PGT project for PFNA/PBNA requires a Test Manager resource to handle the testing strategy and activities and coordinate the testing resources required for the project, along with planning and preparing the necessary activities before testing execution, along with providing status reports for execution, defect, risk and issue management for the project. This person will also be responsible for the testing deliverables for the project, and overall governance for the project, partnering and offering the viable services that can be provided to guarantee a successful quality product deployment, by enabling consistent, cost effective, high quality targeted testing processes and services. Responsibilities • Demand Management and Engagement for projects, including dashboard reviews for compliance validation, as well as attend sector leadership team meetings, forums and provide estimates for services • Provide Governance and support for testing deliverables and activities for ongoing projects, ensuring adherence to testing methodology and standards and drive common metrics to QA / Governance team. • Guide the teams on test assessment exercise, identification of different types of testing required for the project, for optimum test coverage and definition of The Test Strategy. • Plan and manage test resources (external / internal) to provide required training/mentoring/educating for Test Managers and ETS Members to ensure adherence to testing methodology and PepsiCo standards.  • Helps Test Managers to ensure no blockers stop the testing team to execute as planned and facilitate triage sessions and follow up on defect closure. • Provides support on issues or risks identified by Test Managers during any stage of the project to avoid escalation and guides them for resolution and ensure testing deliverables are being produced on plan and signoff those deliverables after reviewing and validating completeness and compliance. • Support the different Test Managers to understand the gathering, preparation and how to submit test progress/summary reports to communicate to the different project forums. • Procure the Test Summary Report and provide final approval. • Represent ETS in the Europe Supply Chain IT Forums to gather the Voice of Customer and report on Europe Supply Chain Project needs and status for testing services provided • Support to Develop Sector testing roadmaps / expansion strategy and coverage / quality metrics execution (by application / functional area, etc.) • Execute the Global testing champ/challenger strategy for execution, driving value through testing delivery. Qualifications YERAS OF EXPERIENCE 12+ years of experience as Test Manager MANDATORY TECHNICAL SKILLS Experience in any Test Management Tool (as a preference ADO + Test Plans)Performance, Automation and Regression Testing experience SAFe Agile knowledge SAP and/or other ERP testing knowledge MANDATORY NON-TECHNICAL SKILLS Proficient English language, both oral and written DIFFERENTIATING COMPETENCIES Service oriented Customer Centric Capacity of Influence Working in a Diverse environment (Multicultural)Continuous Improvement mindset
