What success looks like in this role:
3-5 Years of experience on Oracle Database Administrator 10g/11g/12c/19c
and exposure to SQL Server L1 administration task.
✓ Good experience in Oracle Installations and Oracle Database Creation through
DBCA, Manual, OMF and ASM.
✓ Experience in usermanagement,roles and profiles.
✓ Management of schemas the tables &indexes.
✓ Creating users with restricted access with required privileges.
✓ ExportingandImportingdatabasebackupsusingExp&ImpandEXPDP/IMPDP
utilities.
✓ configuring and maintaining ASM Disk Groups & ASMdatabases.
✓ Configuring and managing backup through RMANutility.
✓ RMAN configuration using recoverycatalog.
✓ Backups and Recovery and Cloning of databases usingRMAN.
✓ Upgradation of database from 10g to 11g and 11g to12c
✓ Configuring and maintaining Physical standby/Activestandby
databases.
✓ installing and configuring 10g/11gRAC.
✓ Knowledge adding/deleting a node to an existingcluster.
✓ Patching the RAC databases in Rollover manger.
✓ maintaining the Cluster databases using srvctl andcrsctl.
✓ Knowledge on Oracle Database performance-tuning services with EXPLAIN PLAN,
TKPROF and AUTOTRACE.
✓ Experience in Linux and Windows environments.
✓ Experience on Performance Tuning.
✓ Experience on interacting with Customers for any requirements.
Experience in covering SQL Server L1 administration activites.
You will be successful in this role if you have:
• University Engineering degree or equivalent education and experience •
Minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience.
Proficient in Oracle DBA administration activities.
Exposure to SQL Server administration.
