About the role - you will:

This director represents China controllership to ensure our China entities’ compliance with local laws & regulations as well as US & Local GAAP, and SOX in the areas of corporate compliance, accounting standards, payroll, statutory reporting/filing and corporate governance. The key task is also to assist in the development of China tax structures and audit defense strategies to ensure continuous compliance with current Group's operating models, legislations, tax position in China and to safeguard the company from financial risks.
Main responsibilities include, but not limited to:
•    Lead the Accounting team
•    Support forward-looking planning on the Company’s development
•    Build and improve finance strategy based on group development strategy 
•    Manage finance policy and procedure, accounting and finance management system to ensure effective finance internal controls
•    Responsible for risk management including assessment and control of financial risks
•    Responsible for managing accounting and controls, treasury function, tax declaration and external audit
•    Representing the Company in China tax matters by managing queries from Tax bureau and government-related queries
•    Working with Corporate Tax Department proactively ensuring compliance to the Group's operating model
•    Staff development and training
•    Other ad-hoc assignments

About you:

•    Have strong Accounting and Tax knowledge
•    Have experience with dealing with Tax authority
•    Good communication skills both internally and externally 
•    Be able to work under pressure
•    Team player to work collaboratively with functional groups and various people
•    Fluent in written and spoken English

Your experience includes:

•    Have experience with dealing with China’s Tax authority
•    Familiar with US & China accounting standards and tax rules 
•    Relevant experience in similar industry 
•    Bachelors and/or equivalent experience
