Position Description
As a Senior system design engineer, you will join the Communication& System engineering team in HW platform Global technology Area. responsible to define, develop and maintain the communication and HW system engineering, covering the HW and communication system concepts You will work closely together with colleagues in an open-minded and creative environment, were you lead the way forward for early estimation of system solution complexity, scalability, evolvability and other system attributes when you with the team designs the architecture. Your work will include analysis and proposing system level concepts, as well getting approval in relevant forums to further development.

Relevant Experience/ Knowledge

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in electronics, software, computer engineering (or similar)
• 6 + years of experience in within Automotive with strong background on design system solutions.
• Knowledge of Automotive communication protocols and communication technologies, such as CAN, Ethernet.
• Experience from working in distributed automotive electrical and electronic systems
• Experience in developing electronic or software systems, preferable with a combination of functional-, system-, hardware and software development for embedded systems.
• Good understanding of ISO 26262 and its application
• Experience from agile product development in a large organization is a strong merit.
• Deep understanding of the EE system of a vehicle and sub-systems.
• Knowledge of Electrical & Electronics architectural principles and strategies
