The Role / Responsibilities:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Risk Reporting AVP to join the MIS Risk team. This position supports the reporting of global operational risk management program across Moody’s Investors Service (MIS). Key responsibilities include the following:
•    Produce monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc risk management reporting for senior audiences including Risk Committees and Boards. 
•    Use IBM OpenPages/Cognos, Excel and other tools to analyse and present data as required.
•    Provide analysis on the data, identifying changes and trends to be highlighted to senior team members
•    Act as first point of contact for IBM OpenPages/Cognos queries from the MIS Business, diagnosing the issue, responding, or escalating as appropriate
•    Identify opportunities to improve reporting procedures and output, proposing systemic enhancements where appropriate
•    Conduct data quality reviews, against defined standards, to ensure accurate data capture/description on large data sets and individual items. Discuss findings with item owners and work collaboratively to remediate them.
•    Manage the periodic collection of Key Risk Indicators and ensuring commentary meets standards. Communicating, escalating and advising as required
•    Assist in the development and provide training to the MIS Business for how to use IBM OpenPages/Cognos 
•    Manage the user population of IBM OpenPages including onboarding/offboarding and periodic recertification
•    Assist with future phases of the Risk Management program development and implementation
•    Support other risk related initiatives and ad-hoc requests as required

 

Qualifications :
•    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
•    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
•    Excellent interpersonal, communication/presentation (written and verbal), and listening skills
•    Strong data management/scientist skills with an ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets
•    Ability to act independently and exercise good judgment 
•    Flexibility and adaptability in work approach 
•    Excellent team player able to work with virtual and global cross functional teams
•    Knowledge of Operational Risk Management concepts including RCSA, Issue and Event management
•    Strong knowledge of MS Office suite of products with emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint  
•    Preferable experience working with IBM OpenPages/Cognos or similar governance and reporting systems
•    Work overlapping hours with London and New York office 
•    Bachelor’s degree
•    5 years or more of related Business or Risk Management governance work experience
