We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our business to identify issues and propose data-driven solutions. Your responsibilities will include building algorithms, designing experiments, and extracting data to create tailored reports. You will also be responsible for assessing data sources, improving data collection methods, and automating reporting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming languages and business intelligence tools, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with your business to identify issues and use data to propose solutions for effective decision making.
  • Build algorithms and design experiments to merge, manage, interrogate, and extract data to supply tailored reports to colleagues, region or the wider organisation.
  • Use data modelling practices identify findings and create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and changes.
  • Test data mining models to select the most appropriate ones for use on a project Identify the processes and information technology required for strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Assess the effectiveness of data sources and data-gathering techniques and improve data collection methods
  • Stay curious and enthusiastic about using algorithms to solve problems and enthuse others to see the benefit of your work.
  • Design and develop reports, visualized dashboards using SAC/ Power BI applications. 
  • Conduct business user training in analytics and BI Dashboards usage
  • Ensure that the line organization is utilizing and achieving the benefits from released BI reports/dashboards
  • Work in collaboration with business users to identify and support opportunities for automations
  • Understanding business requirements from stake holders and work with IT to get the required reports done


Qualifications

  • Any graduation, with 4-6 years of experience in MIS/reporting in supply chain domain
  • High skill level in programming languages (SQL, VBA, Python)
  • Expertise in business intelligence tools (Power BI/ Tableau). SAP/ HANA S4 analytics cloud knowledge is required
  • High proficiency in MS access, advanced excel, Power query 
  • Expertise in SAP ERP MM/TM modules, SAP GUI scripting to automate reporting 
  • Hand on experience on RPA in blue prism is preferable
  • Ability to perform analysis to assess quality and meaning of data
  • Ability to deliver under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation from multiple data sources
  • Should be able to create excel and access based macros to support business operations
